2008-2009 PHWD Calendar of Events and Holidays
• PHWD follows Cobb County School calendar for major holidays such as Thanksgiving, Christmas, Spring Break and inclement weather closings
• Regular PHWD classes ARE held on teacher work days and on President's Day
• CDC indicates a Celebration Dance Company event

Aug. 18; First Day of 2008/09 Dance Season

Aug. 30: CDC Performance at Acworth “Love the Lake” – 2:30pm

Aug. 30-Sept. 1: Closed – Labor Day Weekend

Sept. 6: CDC Performance @ “Taste of Kennesaw” – 3:00pm

Sept. 17: Closed – (no regular classes)
PHWD Hosts Ballet Magnificat! -- 7:30pm @ Woodland High School

Sept. 30: Deadline for changing classes without $10 fee

Oct. 1: Costume Deposit Due with Oct. Tuition

Oct. 18: CDC Performance @ “Taste of Acworth” 2:30pm

Nov. 1: Costume Balance Due with Nov. Tuition

Nov. 24-30: Closed Thanksgiving Holidays

Nov. 24-25: Possible CDC Rehearsals for Christmas Show (after school hours)

March 28: CDC “A Night of Classical Ballet” (tentative)

Apr. 6-12: Closed -- Spring Break

Apr. 26: Auditions for 2009/10 CDC (Ballet, Jazz, Lyrical)

May 4-9: Photo Week (photos in full costume taken during class time)

May 18-23: Rehearsal Week at the studio

May 23: Last Day of regular classes

May 26-27: Extra Rehearsal Days as needed

May 28 (tentative): Worship Outreach MANDATORY Dress Rehearsal @ Woodland High School    

May 29-30 (tentative): Worship Outreach Performances @ Woodland High School

June 15: First Day of Summer Classes
