Requirements – Non-CDC Dancers:

You may dance as much as you would like!  You may register for “camp” and enjoy the benefit of a significantly discounted rate, or you may register for individual classes.  It is set up so that you may register for what you can afford to take.  THE MAIN POINT is to KEEP DANCING DURING THE SUMMER!  It is like starting over from the very beginning for dancers who “take a break during the summer”.  For those who have a desire to progress to the next level, summer classes enable you to hone your skills and increase your chances of progressing!!

Requirements – CDC Dancers:

If you auditioned for & were accepted into the Celebration Dance Company for Fall ’09 then you are aware that you also agreed to dance intensives during the summer.  Your requirements may be fulfilled by attending an out-of-state, nationally recognized training school such as: ABT, PNB, or Ballet Magnificat.  For those who are not traveling for training this summer, you are required to take in a minimum of 4 ballet classes per week at PHWD. If you are in Jazz company, a minimum of 2 jazz classes per week at PHWD is required.  Lyrical classes are not offered during the summer.  Lyrical company members are required to take the minimum ballet requirements during the summer so that they are focusing on technique.
